This End User License Agreement governs your use of JReader and its premium subscription services.
Apple's Standard License Terms
JReader is distributed through the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), which can be found at:

The Apple Standard EULA governs your rights and obligations regarding the use of JReader, including installation, usage restrictions, and termination conditions.
Subscription Services
JReader offers premium subscription services governed by the following terms:
- Basic Tier (Free): Limited to 3 uses per day with access to Heart voice only
- Premium Monthly: $2.99/month for unlimited usage and all premium features
- Premium Lifetime: $19.99 one-time purchase for lifetime access to all premium features
Premium Features
Premium subscriptions unlock the following additional features:
- Unlimited daily usage (no 3-use limit)
- Access to all available TTS voices
- Voice blending and customization
- Enhanced OCR capabilities
- Adjustable reading speed controls
- Priority customer support
Auto-Renewal Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
Refunds and Cancellation
Subscription management and refunds are handled through Apple's App Store policies:
- Cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID Account Settings
- Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through the App Store
- Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after the standard App Store refund period
TTS Voice Licenses
Text-to-Speech voices included with JReader are subject to additional terms:
- Voices are licensed for use solely within JReader
- Commercial use of generated audio may be restricted
- Voice files remain the property of their respective creators
- Usage is governed by the same terms as the main application
Content and Usage
When using JReader's text-to-speech functionality:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to process text content
- Generated audio is for personal use unless otherwise specified
- Respect copyright and intellectual property when processing text
- Do not use the service for illegal or harmful purposes
Limitation of Liability
JReader is provided "as is" with the following limitations:
- OCR technology may not accurately recognize all text
- Text-to-Speech may mispronounce words or names
- Audio output should not be relied upon for critical information
- Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance
Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified in Apple's Standard EULA and the laws of California, United States.
Changes to This Agreement
We may update this EULA from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new EULA on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of JReader after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
